a couple of notes : I have a project every week!
This project is called - Soundtracks!
This week, I did a video game sountrack overview and what it should sound like. Videogame sound tracks are usually composed of the following:
1. badass entry theme (and overlaying theme)
2. A killer intro song (exposition of the plot of course must enter epic-ly)
3. A Fight theme - theme you hear when you fight those pricks in your way!
4. A Chase theme - there’s always a chase sequence -.-
5. A Romance/Tender moment (what is a videogame plot without love (sex?)?)
6. OUT OF THIS WORLD ENDING SONG! (producers can only hope to have a memorable ending song)
so- tune in next week! I’m going to be tackling the ACTION MOVIE Soundtrack! What is that you say? Good cop takin’ down big baddies! Explosions! Danger! High Voltage! What? I can’t play Electric Six,…. but yeah - Explosions!!!
